INSURANCE
Mountain rescue and public liability: we strongly advise you to take out personal insurance with public liability cover, eg. Carte-Neige, CAF…. which covers the whole range of mountaineering sports.
In no case can the public liability of the 'Compagnie des Guides' be brought into play to substitute the legal responsibility of a client.
PRICES
Prices include:
The organization, instruction & material for group outings (see rubrics)
Prices do NOT include:
Mountain rescue & public liability, transport & the lift systems (except for certain outings), mountain refuge accommodation & expenses, the eventual hire of equipment.
Clients are liable for the costs of transportation as well as the full-board expenses of their guide.
CANCELLATION
All and any outings which are not cancelled before 5.30pm on the evening before departure is payable in full by the client.
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANT
Numbers may vary depending on the chosen course, its difficulty and above all, the conditions in the mountains. The guide is the sole person responsible for fixing the final number of participants.
Being in the mountains (mid or high altitude) and mountaineering in all its variations, implies the acceptance of the inherent risks involved.
